标记 (Cap and Gown), 披肩, 绳子, Honor Medallions

Graduates participating in the Commencement ceremonies must wear the appropriate academic attire (cap, 礼服 and tassel).

标记 represents the three principal levels of academic achievement at Cal State Fullerton: bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees.

标记 for undergraduate and master candidates (cap, 礼服, stole and tassel) will be available for purchase in 人 and online at Titan Shops beginning March 18, 2024 until Commencement. For doctoral candidates, regalia must be pre-ordered at Titan Shops. Custom doctoral regalia and rental doctoral regalia must be ordered by March 22, 2024. Graduating students who experience an unanticipated expense or unique circumstance have the opportunity to receive academic regalia at no cost. More information 在这里.

披肩 may be purchased through Titan Shops.

绳子 are sold or distributed by various departments, 办公室, student clubs and organizations across campus. Please inquire with the individual department you wish to receive a cord from for more information.

Honors Medallions / Basccalaureate Honors Criteria

Honors designations at graduation are awarded to baccalaureate recipients based on overall performance in three classifications:

• Summa Cum Laudegpa 3.90-4.0
• Magna Cum Laudegpa 3.75-3.89
• Cum Laudegpa 3.5-3.74

These honors are designated on the diploma and permanent academic record.

For spring 2024 or summer 2024 graduating students, projected baccalaureate honor is based on completed courses as of fall 2023. Projected honors are subject to change based on final grades at the end of the spring 2024 semester or summer 2024 session.

Honors Medallions Distribution

Graduates obtaining a bachelor's degree, who maintain an outstanding academic record while earning their degree, are accorded special recognition upon graduation and are given medallions to wear during Commencement.

Honors medallions are awarded and distributed by the academic colleges. Your college will contact you if you have earned academic honors with instructions on how to pick up your medallion. For questions about medals, please contact your college Commencement coordinator.
